Icarus Zone (icaruszone.com) is a trade name of Arezeo, Inc., based in Seattle, Washington. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, join our list or buy from us, and what we do with it. Questions: support@icaruszone.com.

When you join our email list: your email address and when you joined. To stop automated sign-ups, we also keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address.

When you place an order: your email address, your name and shipping address, an optional phone number, what you ordered, and the amounts paid, including shipping and tax. Card details are typed into a payment form that Stripe provides, on our checkout page or on Stripe's own, and never reach us.

When you sign in to see your orders: your email address. We send a one-time sign-in link that expires after 1 hour.

When you ask to return an item: which items and why, anything you write, and any photos you attach. Photos are kept in private storage that only our staff can open, and we use them only to review your return and to answer any question about it. We keep a return's records, photos included, for as long as the tax and accounting rules require.

When you browse: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels. We use only what the store needs to work:

• Your cart is saved in your own browser (local storage), so it's still there when you come back. It isn't sent to us until you check out.
• A sign-in cookie (icz_session) keeps you signed in to your orders for up to 14 days. It's set only when you sign in, and removed when you sign out.
• Stripe's payment form, on the checkout page only, may use its own cookies or browser storage to process your payment and prevent fraud.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, only once you use a form to join our email list, checks that you're a person and not a script. It may use its own browser storage for that check.

• To take payment, ship your order, and send order, shipping and delivery emails.
• To send our email list news, releases, events and discounts, if you joined it. Every one of these emails has a link to unsubscribe instantly.
• To answer you when you contact us, and to keep the store secure.
• To keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Only the services that run the store, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe: payments. On our checkout page (and only there) Stripe's payment form loads from Stripe's servers, so Stripe also receives your device and browser details to process the payment and prevent fraud.
• Shippo and the shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL): your name, address, phone and email, to create shipping labels and send tracking updates.
• Amazon Web Services: sending our emails.
• Cloudflare: hosting the site and its data, and protecting it from attacks. When you join our email list, Cloudflare Turnstile loads from Cloudflare's servers and receives your device and browser details to check that you're a person.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

• Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe. We keep a note that you unsubscribed, so we don't email you again.
• Sign-in links expire after 1 hour; sign-in sessions after 14 days.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any of them. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email support@icaruszone.com. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to keep order records that the law requires, even after a deletion request.

Icarus Zone isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If we change this page, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll also tell customers and subscribers by email.
